Knockabout

Privacy policy

Effective October 6, 2026

The short version

Knockabout is a game made by Rifyne. Nothing leaves your device, and we collect nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. Knockabout does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party code that collects data. It never asks for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or anything else about you.

On the App Store, Knockabout's privacy label reads "Data Not Collected".

What stays on your device

Your progress (the courts you've played, your stars, coins, boosters and lives) and your settings (sound and music) are saved on your own device so the game remembers where you got to. They never leave it, and we can't see them.

Purchases

Coins and the other things the game sells are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account. Apple's privacy policy covers those purchases.

Every purchase in the game sits behind a question for grown-ups, and Apple's Ask to Buy works with it, so a child can't buy anything without an adult.

Third parties

Knockabout shares no information with anyone, because it has none to share. Apple processes App Store purchases under its own privacy policy. No other company receives anything from the game.

Children

Knockabout is made to be safe for children to play. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children, including children under 13 in the United States and under 16 in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Keeping and deleting your information

We hold no information about you from the game, so there's nothing for us to keep, correct or delete. To erase your progress, delete Knockabout from your device; everything it saved goes with it.

Links

The only link out of the game is the one to this page, and a grown-up has to answer a question before it opens.

If you contact us

If you write to us through our support form or by email, we use your email address and what you send only to answer you. That happens on our website, not in the game, and is covered by the Rifyne website privacy policy.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date before the change takes effect in the game.
